Wholegrain rice is obtained by eliminating from paddy rice only the husk, which is the non-edible outer part of the grain. Cascina San Maiolo uses the Carnaroli variety to obtain a particularly tasty wholegrain rice, rich in proteins and mineral nutrients such as potassium, magnesium and fiber, useful for a correct metabolism. It can be used to prepare refreshing rice salads, fancy starters and main courses with vegetables and legumes.
